The award recognizes businesses of 50+ employees that excel in service to their customers, the business community and the city. Previous winner, Phillip Brown, owner of Chick-fil-A Waxahachie, presented the award. “We are both humbled and honored to be recognized by the Waxahachie community, and among a respected group of businesses in the category,” says John Houston, CEO of the JH Family of Companies. “I am thankful for a chamber and community that both value and support the strengthening of leadership culture in North Texas.”   ![2020-LrgBusinessYear-ChamberBanquet2](https://blog.jhoustonhomes.com/hubfs/2020-LrgBusinessYear-ChamberBanquet2.png)   In January each year, the Waxahachie Chamber Board of Directors makes nominations in 9 different categories. The community of Waxahachie is invited to vote in each category, and the winners are announced in February at the banquet. Sandy King, president of the Waxahachie Chamber states, “The board of directors nominated the JH Family of Companies largely due to their support of the WX Leaders Summit and their ongoing work to grow a culture of leaders in our community.
